“Now more than ever, we must preserve and strengthen Milwaukee County. Whether for our parks, transit, or affordable housing, I’m ready to continue delivering real results for our neighbors with bold, responsible leadership.”
Meet Jack
Supervisor Jack Eckblad believes that the core mission of county government is to equitably deliver essential services. His priorities as County Supervisor are focused on delivering constituent services, revitalizing the parks of District 4, better aligning Milwaukee County and the City of Milwaukee’s climate cooperation, and ensuring the equitable expansion of access to affordable housing.
Priorities
With a focus on preserving what makes our county special, I'm dedicated to keeping our parks thriving despite the challenges we face today.
The diverse fabric of the 4th District is not possible without affordable housing and the preservation of renters’ rights. Milwaukee needs to double down on providing both.
Public transportation isn’t about ideology it’s about ensuring an essential service that keeps us going to work, to the doctor, to school, and safely back home after.
As the audit of the Milwaukee County Jail shows, the Sheriff's Department needs to transparently and publicly reform the culture and practices within the jail to embrace care and health over punishment and abuse.
Milwaukee County must do everything we can to ensure that any and every resident of Milwaukee can access services and engage in their community with a guarantee that their rights and safety - and the rights and safety of their families - will be inviolable.
The county does not control laws governing reproductive healthcare in Wisconsin, but I believe every elected official bears a profound responsibility to advocate for women’s right to healthcare no matter what their office may be.
